License Types

There are two license types available: Private Usage License (PUL) and Commercial Usage License (CUL). Both license types differ only by fee, all rules of this license agreement affect both license types.

Permitted Uses

You are allowed to install a licensed copy on up to two computers at a time. You may not rent, lease, lend or sublicense the software. You may not alter, merge, modify, adapt or translate the software, or decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the software to a human-perceivable form. Any attempt to remove the license protection will be prosecuted and will invalidate you license (if available).

Updates

Updates can be obtained via the programs website. Updates for licensed copies are for free, regardless of the licensed version of the software.

Shareware Version

The shareware version distributed for free. It allows you to test and evaluate CatSpy for 30 day beginning from the day of installation. After 30 days, the recording functionality of CatSpy will be disabled. You may enable this again by obtaining a license. The shareware installation image may be distributed freely.

License Protection

CatSpy uses a internal license protection. The license is physically bound to your computers, so that changing some parts may invalidate the license. In such a case, please refer to the website to get a new license. The license data, including the licensee name and email address will be stored on both computers and all files generated by CatSpy. Any attempt to remove the license protection will be prosecuted and will invalidate you license (if available).

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF CATSPY IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY AND EFFORT IS WITH YOU. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND WE HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO CATSPY, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OF ACCURACY, OF QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
